Dana Somma is the Director of Funding at MMP Capital, where she oversees the company’s funding strategies and operations. Dana is responsible for developing and executing funding strategies that align with the company’s financial goals and growth objectives.
With 15 years of experience in the industry, she has a proven track record of delivering personalized financial solutions and exceeding client expectations. Her focus is providing unparalleled client service that drives meaningful outcomes and fosters lasting relationships.
Before joining MMP Capital, she served as Vice President in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs where she collaborated closely with Heads of Portfolio Management, Marketing, and Business Development to launch a diverse Mutual Fund Product Line tailored to meet investor needs. Prior to working in Investment Management, Dana worked with the Equity Derivatives Trading Desk at Goldman Sachs ensuring the highest levels of oversight and risk management were adhered to.
She has also served as a Mortgage Loan Originator at Par East Mortgage Company where she exceled in fostering relationships with business partners, including underwriters, attorneys, realtors, and other key stakeholders, while assisting clients in selecting optimal programs to meet their financial objectives.
Dana holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Baruch College.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Dana volunteers her time at St. William the Abbot in Seaford, where her children attend school, Co-Chairing different fund-raising events.
