James Siederman is a seasoned and accomplished Executive Vice President who partnered with John-Paul Smolenski in 2016 when he joined MMP Capital. He brings extensive expertise in direct and indirect sales, new business development, client relationship management, channel partner relations, and negotiation. A highly adaptable leader, James is known for his strong emphasis on relationship building, sales leadership, and operational excellence.
James began his career at Direct Capital Corporation, where he served as Finance Manager and consistently surpassed performance goals, achieving up to 200% to plan. In 2010, he and his team spearheaded a vendor program strategy in the commercial printing space that generated 17MM in incremental channel sales companywide and has since become an adopted model. At MMP Capital, James builds on this track record of success through vendor program management, strategic prospecting, new business acquisition, and mentorship—cultivating exclusive lending relationships and driving sustained sales growth.
In 2006, James earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University at Albany, where he was a member of the football program during its Northeast Conference Championship seasons in 2002 and 2003. He remains passionate about sports and gives back to his community as the director of the local little league, while also coaching both basketball and football.
